Matcha at All You Need: From Japanese Farm to Your Cup

What You'll Find in the Cup We serve matcha the way it deserves to be served — as a latte, iced, or in one of our seasonal variations. Each one made to order, with care. If you've never been a matcha person, this might be the one that changes your mind. And if you already love it — we think you'll feel the difference.

If you've tried our matcha and felt like something was a little different — you're not imagining it.

It starts with where it comes from.

Japan

A while back, Stas traveled to Japan to meet the people behind our matcha in person. Not to close a deal, but to understand the craft — to walk the farm, ask questions, and really learn what goes into making matcha worth drinking.

The farm works with a tradition that dates back to the 12th century. Tea plants take years before they're even ready to harvest. And when that moment comes, only the youngest, most tender leaves are picked — by hand, one by one. It's slow, careful work. The kind that doesn't scale easily, and that's exactly the point.

What Makes It Ceremonial Grade

Ceremonial-grade matcha is the highest quality available — traditionally reserved for Japanese tea ceremonies, meant to be sipped and savored rather than hidden in a recipe.

The difference is in the details: the color (a deep, living green), the texture (ultra-fine, almost silky), the taste (smooth and naturally sweet, without the bitterness most people associate with matcha).

Getting all three right at once isn't simple. But it matters. Because a good matcha should feel like something — calm, grounding, a little bit special.
